Cooler Master Mystique 632 Black
Cooler Master is a brand that many are familiar with, especially when it comes to aluminium cases. The company has a reputation of building high quality cases, so we jumped at the opportunity to have a look at its latest creation. The question is though - is the Mystique 632 Black any good?
The Mystique 632 is a new design that features a pair of sliding doors that hide the drive bays. In typical Cooler Master fashion, it doesn't come with an included power supply unit. This gives you the freedom to choose the best PSU for your system, without having to worry about what to do with the usually poor-quality included power supply. The case weighs in at 6.3kg and it is 480 x 205 x 445 mm - it's not really heavy for its size due to all aluminum construction.
Cooler Master's Mystique 632 Black is a solid case that looks a little different in many ways - these looks may not be to everyone's tastes. Ultimately, it will come down to whether you like the look of the doors or not. Personally, I think that the case looks better with the doors open - they just seem to add an unnecessary extra dimension to an otherwise good looking chassis.
It has a black anodised brushed aluminium finish - the finish appears to be up to Cooler Master's typical high standards - the case didn't scratch during our two-week test period. While this finish looks superb, it needs to be taken care of because it is incredibly easy to mark the case with greasy finger prints.
The sliding doors have a simple-looking orange clear plastic trim in the middle of the two doors. This has Cooler Master etched into it and the effect that Cooler Master has created works pretty well. There are four rubber feet on the bottom to stop the case from marking your desk.
