Introduction
It's that time again - the month of September is drawing to a close, so we've been digging through the
bit-tech community forums like pigs looking for truffles. Or something like that...but, hey, we found some good ones!
Yet again we've had a clear showing of talent from the community in the Project Logs - it seems the start of school and uni has just encouraged people to get even busier than before. We have some great new projects from some terrific new members this time - more than half of our entries are modders who have been with us for less than a year! That doesn't mean they don't know their stuff, though.
Of course, the one who everyone likes the best this month will be rewarded handsomely. Our old pals at
Corsair Memory have tossed another 2GB of DDR2-6400 CAS5 memory on our desks, looking to find the warm "hum" of a system before the cold winter months.
As well, our awesome friends at
AC Ryan will be swinging a prize pack out too - a couple of fans and some sleeving of your choice for your upcoming mod, as well as the company's handy new AluBox external drive enclosure. Of course, you never know what
else may be in there!
Now that September is winding down, things are just starting to get blustery for those of us here in the northern hemisphere. It's just the time to bring your work into the garage and get that last bit of spray-painting done before the cold snaps in and fogs it all up. Those of you that are on that
other side of the world (like
last month's winner sethnmalice) are just starting to feel some warmth coming back - so it's a great time to get to work. After all, October is right around the corner, and with it will be another
bit-tech Mod of the Month contest!
But it's not here yet - so before next month rears its Halloween-mask head, let's take a look at this month's five fantastic offerings...
Mod of the Month - September 2007
