Next Generation of Android Devices Coming Soon To Vodafone UK
It’s been a busy few days with a host of exciting new smartphones and tablets being announced and, best of all, we're delighted to confirm that the pick of the bunch are coming to Vodafone UK!
We don’t have pricing or launch dates for the devices at the moment but we’ll make sure we update you on this as soon as we can. Here’s what Vodafone UK customers will be able to pick up over the coming months.
Honeycomb Tablet
The
Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 will be available exclusively from Vodafone when it launches, bringing one of the first dual-core Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) tablets to the UK.
The new lightweight, ultra-slim device offers a great entertainment experience whether you’re playing games, reading eBooks of updating your Facebook status.
Gingerbread Smartphones
Vodafone customers will also be able to pick up the very best Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) smartphones when they launch in the UK, including:

HTC ChaCha, featuring a dedicated Facebook key making it ideal for social networking on the move.

HTC Desire S, the next generation of the highly successful Desire range, featuring a faster processor, better battery and an all new design

HTC Wildfire S, building on the heritage of the first Wildfire device offering compact access to the latest version of Android.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, PlayStation certified and custom built to offer an incredible mobile gaming experience.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, launching exclusively in red on Vodafone, packed full of great imaging features including HD capture and playback.
- Samsung Galaxy S 2, an ultra slim dual core device, making it one of the most powerful Android handsets on the market (more information to follow soon on our website).
These newly announced devices will sit alongside the Sony Ericsson Arc and Nexus S in Vodafone UK’s range of Gingerbread-powered smartphones.
Vodafone customers will also be able to pick up the LG Optimus 3D, the world’s first smartphone to capture and play 3D content without the need for 3D glasses, when it launches on the UK’s best network. More info on this will follow on our website soon.
