September 09th 2008 - Coulsdon, England: Kobalt Computers Ltd – a specialist in building high-performance custom gaming systems announces the appointment of ex Vadim System Engineers.
Kobalt are very pleased to announce the appointment of two new Senior System Engineers. Richard Robb and Adrian Enache will be well known to Vadim system owners and visitors to the Vadim Forum. Their previous work can be seen in award winning PCs and projects such as Nightshade and Ragnarok - due for entry into Custom PC‘s 2008 Dream PC competition.
Neil Richards, Kobalt’s Technical Director said “Richard and Adrian bring with them years of experience in custom PC building and will be heavily involved in finalising the development of new liquid cooled systems as well as several unique projects. This will really push the boundaries of ultra performance PCs. Expect a lot from the new team in the coming months!”
Richard added “Both Adrian and I felt a little lost after the demise of Vadim Computers, this was a company and job that we both enjoyed and believed in. After meeting with the guys at Kobalt, we realized that we shared the same passion, enthusiasm and vision that had kept Vadim on top of the Boutique PC market. Now, with our combined experience and thirst for developing new ideas and producing ground-breaking PCs, we believe that this is a match made in cyber-heaven!”
Kobalt is now in the ideal position to be able to help existing Vadim owners with warranty and upgrade support. With Richard and Adrian having built the vast majority of Vadim systems over the last year and with Kobalt’s infrastructure already firmly in place with major component manufacturers, we will be doing all we can to support Vadim system owners.
Kobalt will be officially re-launching its range of liquid cooled systems at the end of October but additions to the current range will be available in the coming weeks.
