The perfect companion for the new breed of small, slim notebooks & Mac’s

11th August 2008. Freecom introduce the Mobile DVD RW Recorder LS Pro – responding to the increase in demand for thinner and more streamline notebooks. The Mobile DVD RW Recorder LS Pro is the ideal companion for both PC and MAC notebook users on the move.

The Mobile DVD RW Recorder LS Pro is super thin and gives the user an optical drive that is small enough to fit in their pocket. This new mobile DVD recorder comes with both USB-2 and Firewire connections making it perfect for use with either Mac or PC notebooks.

A growing number of modern lightweight notebooks are now supplied without optical drives as standard, however the demand for reading & writing to disc is still as prominent as ever. The new Freecom DVD RW Recorder LS Pro allows users to have a lightweight optical drive that can burn up to 8.5GB of data, images or multi-media files, looks stylish and produces professional looking CD’s and DVD’s (additional LightScribe media required).

Supplied in a strong but light aluminium casing for a professional look, the user just needs to attach the drive via the USB-2 or Firewire cable, with no need to shut down or restart their PC or MAC.

The Freecom Mobile DVD RW Recorder LS Pro is available now and comes with a free five-pack of CD-R LightScribe media, Roxio & Toast software, two years manufacturers warranty and unlimited (UK based) helpdesk support. For more information please visit www.freecom.com
