Sapphire have launched their new X550 cards today, and have plenty of funky options for buyers looking for the perfect card for them.

The card comes with either 64-bit or 128-bit memory interface, and with 128MB or 256MB of memory. It has either a normal heatsink and fan or completely passive heatsink, depending on whether you want a quiet life or the extra overclocking performance.

The engine is clocked at 400MHz and the memory at 500MHz. It sports 4 pixel pipelines and 2 vertex pipelines, and is based on the RV370 core - effectively making it a supercharged X300.

We're still waiting for a price on the board, but we think it's going to make a great entry level board, whilst sporting DVI and TVout for maximum connectivity.
