Sleeved cable specialist CableMod has announced the impending launch of new cable kits designed with Cooler Master V Series power supplies in mind, adding to its already-impressive roster of compatible units.
We were extremely impressed with CableMod's work when we reviewed the Corsair-compatible
CableMod C-Series kit earlier this year, and while the company offered wide compatibility - SE-Series for Seasonic, E-Series for EVGA, B-Series SP and DPP for be quiet, on top of the C-Series - there was one major player missing from the roster: Cooler Master. That's an oversight the company has worked to fix, and it has now confirmed that a CM-Series kit is on the way for Cooler Master's V Series of power supplies.
Featuring the same design as the existing cable kits, including the company's ModFlex sleeving, the CM-Series cables will launch in a range of colours: black, red, blue, green, orange and white single-colour sets, and black/red, black/blue, black/green, black/orange, black/yellow and black/white combo-colour sets.
Each CM-Series bundle comes with a 600mm 24-pin ATX cable, a 700mm 4+4 pin EPS cable, two 750mm dual 6+2 pin PCIe cables, four 600mm single 6+2 pin PCIe cables, an 850mm quad SATA cable, a 700mm quad SATA cable, a 500mm dual SATA cable, a 750mm triple four-pin Molex cable, a 500mm dual four-pin Molex cable, and a single Molex to floppy adapter on a 100mm flying lead.
Pricing for the kit has yet to be confirmed, but is expected to match the pricing of the company's existing ranges. More information is available on the
product page.
