EVGA has superclocked NVIDIA's recently launched GeForce 7950 GT and ends up with what looks like the fastest 7950 GT on the market.
The e-GeForce 7950 GT KO Superclocked hums along at an impressive 600MHz core and a decent 1450MHz memory clock to complement the high core frequency.
It comes with all of the other features that you'll find on any GeForce 7950 GT, including 512MB of onboard memory, a pair of dual-link DVI connectors and is of course HDCP-enabled.
The cooler is the same as the one we've seen on the company's
e-GeForce 7900 GT KO Superclocked and
e-GeForce 7900 GS KO Superclocked cards that we've previously reviewed. It's a little noisy in our opinion, but it's an improvement over NVIDIA's reference design cooler. On top of all of this, you'll get a 10-year warranty and the option to upgrade within the first 90 days of ownership via EVGA's Step-Up programme.
We're told that the card is available immediately and will sell for €359 in Europe. We were able to find the card in stock at Overclockers UK for a
shade under £235 including VAT. That seems to be about right with all things considered, but is it enough to tempt you considering the imminent arrival of DX10 hardware? Let us know your thoughts
