Slovenian liquid-cooling specialist EK Water Blocks has announced a new ultra-slim radiator family, the CoolStream SE.
Designed for use, you'll be amazed to heard, with the company's Vardar high static-pressure fans, the EK CoolStream SE family launches in four sizes: 120mm for single-fan use, 240mm for dual-fan use, 360mm for triple-fan use, and 480mm for quad-fan use. It's the 120mm variant, however, that EK is looking to highlight, claiming that it will allow liquid cooling in cases which have previously been discounted as too compact to fit a radiator.
'
This radiator was specifically designed to be utilised in computer chassis where space constraints limit the use of other types of radiators,' claimed Niko Tivadar, chief of research and development at EK, of the CoolStream SE. '
Such design also allows for building of the high performance 3U form factor liquid cooled HPC and workstation computers.'
The CoolStream SE 120mm features the company's latest radiator core design featuring 90 per cent copper tubing, copper fins, and brass chambers in an aluminium and steel housing. Each unit in the range measures 26mm thick, and comes with two G1/4-threaded ports for connection to a liquid cooling loop, complete with pre-installed port extenders. For those looking for a thin radiator but with room to spare in their case, fans can also be fitted on both sides in push-pull configurations.
The CoolStream SE family is live now on
EK's webshop, priced at €39.96 for the 120mm, €54.95 for the 240mm, €64.95 for the 360mm, and €79.95 for the 480mm.
