The only board partner to sell video cards made by all four major independent hardware vendors, Club 3D, managed to be the first company to have it's Radeon X850 CrossFire Edition cards on sale in the UK.

The card is 'in stock' at KustomPCs, priced at £284.00 including VAT. Having said that, we're not quite sure how many cards they have for sale - it's possible that it could be another small-scale stock holding, seeing as nowhere else has the Club 3D X850 CFE 256MB cards available yet.

The card is based on the R480 core and is clocked at the same speeds as a normal Radeon X850 XT, meaning 520MHz core and 1080MHz memory. You can read more about how CrossFire works, and performs here on bit-tech.

CrossFire motherboards are also starting to appear too. You can buy both the DFI and EQS AMD-based CrossFire boards from Overclock.co.uk. Direct links are here and here.

I guess it's better late than never - X1800 XT CrossFire cards will be available before long. Share your thoughts in the usual place.
