Electronic Arts and Microsoft have announced that Xbox 360 gamers can look forward to an exclusive Crysis 2 demo this January 25th.
The Crysis 2 demo will be multiplayer only, featuring one map - called Skyline - and two game modes. The first, Crash Site, has two teams earning points by protecting crashed alien ships. The other mode is basically team deathmatch.
The multiplayer demo will open on January 25th, though EA hasn't yet specified when or if the demo will end.
EA also announced the bonuses that would be made available to those who pre-order Crysis 2, according to
Eurogamer. Pre-order customers will get a limited edition of the game which includes a camouflaged assault rifle and early access to the Holo Decoy weapon attachment, which is supposed to distract enemies with a holographic decoy of the player.
Those of you who pre-order Crysis 2 will also get access to a bonus XP boost that will raise your multiplayer rank faster than those who buy the regular edition of Crysis 2.
Crysis 2 is set for a March 25th release on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Check out our latest preview of
