Popular PC tank-battler World Of Tanks is about to find itself on a new battlefield: the Playstation 4.
Wargaming.net has anounced that World Of Tanks will soon find itself on the Playstation 4 console with a slew of new features, including two new maps that'll be exclusive to the PS4 for a limited time. The game looks to be keeping the 30 player matches it had on PC as well as bringing across it's 350+ tanks for your perusal and eventual destruction.
The real news here is that World of Tanks truly will be free to play on the PS4, with any internet connected account about to play rather than restricting it to Playstation plus accounts. Plus account holders will get a selection of benefits though, including a free premium tank with exclusive camouflage, three days of Premium Account time and special discounts on other purchases.
I played a lot of World of Tanks a few years ago and still dip in every now and again, but by launching on a console they've piqued my interest all over again. Perhaps I'll duck in to loose some rounds in the Playstation 4 beta when it launches in the 'coming months', which you can sign up for news on

I'm writing this while entrenched in my own personal command bunker inside a coffee shop so I haven't had a chance to watch the below trailer but I am willing to bet it features some tanks fighting. A world of them, perhaps.
