Electronic Arts is rumoured to be working on
The Sims 3, if comments by Sims Studio creative director Rod Humble are to be believed.
Speaking on the
QuarterToThree forums (found via
RockPaperShotgun), Rod said that "
For Sims 3 there will be new information soon."
Just last week EA also hinted at a pair of new
MySims games for the Wii and DS this year, as well as
SimCity Creator and
SimAnimals.
The Sims 2 Freetime expansion is also incoming this year, so that's a whole lot of
Sim for gamers to cope with.
Spore is going to be out this year as well, so check out our
in-depth preview to see whats in store for that title.
Despite the continued over-exploitation of
The Sims, Humble has said that there will be fewer
Sims products going on sales this year than in last year, presumably as the title is now noticeably aging and EA is readying for pastures new.

The Sims, or do you think that such games are only for little kids? Let us know in
