Sony has confirmed that the PSP Vita will include support for Skype, even though Microsoft took over the digital communications company back in June.
The confirmation came at Sony's press conference at GamesCom 2011 in Cologne.
Skype was first announced for Sony's new handheld, the PSP Vita back in June, but little had been heard of that aspect of the PSP Vita since Microsoft acquired Skype back in May.
Sony also took the time to announce that the PSP Vita would include support for FourSquare, the popular location-tagging social media software.
