GamesCom 2012: Trine developer Frozenbyte has announced new DLC for it's amazing co-operative platforming sequel, Trine 2.

Dubbed 'Goblin Menace', the DLC will feature six new stages for the game, as well as a plethora of new abilities accessible in both the DLC and the main game.

While the Goblin Menace DLC is due this Autumn though it's so far only been confirmed for the PC and for the Wii U's upcoming exclusive Director's Cut edition.

Frozenbyte is particularly proud of the Goblin Menace pack by the sounds of it though, with Frozenbyte CEO calling it the team's best work to date in the announcement press release. That may explain why the DLC has taken so long to appear then!
