Electronic Arts has announced that the previously console-only DLC for Shift 2 will be given away for free on PC from June 30th onwards.

The caveat, however, is that the downloads will only be available through Origin, EA's new digital distribution platform.

There are two packs, each of which cost £7.99 / 800 MS points when they originally went on sale on Xbox 360 and PS3.

The first DLC pack, Legends, was released in April for consoles and gives players access to five new tracks and a dozen classic cars.

The second pack, Speedhunters, originally went on sale last month and comes with two new game modes and 14 new vehicles.
