Developer Bohemia Interactive has announced the latest in its series military simulators, Arma 3 and revealed some of the minimum specs for the game.
The announcement comes via the official website, which says the game will be based on a Mediterranean island and focus on NATO forces fighting Eastern armies.

After years of intense warfare against Eastern armies, Europe has become the last stand for the battered NATO forces,' says the announcement.
'
On the verge of being driven into the sea, NATO command embarks upon a most desperate measure. In the hope of seizing what seems to be a well-guarded military secret, Operation Magnitude is launched. A small group of Special Forces and Researchers are sent to a Mediterranean island deep behind enemy lines.'

RAM: 2GB
CPU: Intel Core i5 or AMD Athlon Phenom X4 or faster
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTX 260 or ATI Radeon HD 5770 with Shader Model 3 and 896 MB VRAM
Other: DirectX 10 minimum
The game is currently slated for a 2012 release and will feature multiplayer, singlplayer, vehicles, customisable loadouts and an extensive editor for players to make their own content with.
