Infinity Ward last night released the first proper trailer for the next instalment in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare franchise.
The eagerly anticipated sequel to one of the fastest-selling games of all time looks set to see players hopping around the globe to some of the worst-spelt countries in the world - Am3rica, 3ngland, G3rmany and Franc3.
The game certainly looks set to continue the frantic pace of action that made its predecessors so popular, but we couldn’t help being a little miffed at the quality of graphical finery on show as the game engine doesn’t seem to have moved on too far.
Maybe we’ve been spoilt by the recent Battlefield 3 trailers, which show off the mind blowing excellence of the Frostbite 2 engine, but it just didn’t look that impressive to us.
However, we’ll reserve official judgement until we’ve got the game in our grubby little mitts. In the meantime, what are your gut feelings about the trailer? Let us know in the forums.
