When the BAFTA
winners were first announced the results proved quite controversial - though there were some
notably hilarious remarks on the forums. There were games on the list which hadn't been released yet, games in the wrong sections and the overall and utter pwnage of
BioShock by
Wii Sports of all things.
Worse,
Half-Life 2: Episode 2 didn't even make the list. Sacrilege.
Nevermind, we told ourselves; there's still the Golden Joysticks to come and they at least may provide a more reasonable award set. Unfortunately, that's not the case either and the list of winners is populated with games from last year.
Gears of War is a great game, but there have been better games out since it was released you know. Sigh.
