We are pleased to let you know that the eagerly awaited F.E.A.R. Multiplayer demo has just been released by VUGames and developer Monolith Productions.

The game will assault store shelves on the 18th October - that's over three weeks away!

The demo weighs in at 462MB and lets players load up on both normal and slow-motion versions of three playing modes: deathmatch, team deathmatch and capture the flag. The demo also includes both elimination and team elimination game types across two maps: Factory and Facility.

Factory is a deathmatch map designed for eight to sixteen players, and Facility is a capture-the-flag map that is designed for six to sixteen players. Players can choose from one of six starting weapons depending on their preference and playing style.
