Ubisoft has announced a new title in the popular Call of Juarez series, Call of Juarez: The Cartel, for release this summer on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Interestingly, The Cartel will move the series of western games to a modern setting, with screenshots and announced details placing the game in present-day LA, California and Mexico.
Call of Juarez: The Cartel will be developed by Techland again, who started the series as a PC exclusive back in 2006 with a gorgeous engine and a story which switched often between two different characters.
Few other details have been announced for Call of Juarez: The Cartel, but released screenshots indicate that Techland is trying to preserve the western mood despite the more contemporary setting.
