Team Complexity has won the World Series of Video Games, sponsored by Intel.

The team takes home $40,000 for its performance in Counter-Strike 1.6, which is not a bad little prize pot. John 'Toxic' Quick took the top prize in the Quake 4, netting him a cool $20,000.

The tournament was sponsored by Intel, ATI, Fatal1ty and Xbox 360. The tournament featured both PC and 360 gaming, with prizes handed out for Halo 2, Project Gotham 3 and Ghost Recon.

The World Series is heading to the UK in October, and we fully expect the UK's finest to do well. Thanks to our man Nick at Intel for grabbing pictures of the event - check out the awesome Quake symbol table!

The prizes for the event were handed out by Michael Dell, and the PC uber-company was showing off its new concept PCs.
