3D Realms teased us
a few weeks ago about some 'big announcement' that it has been working on, but noted that the announcement would most definitely not be anything to do with
Duke Nukem Forever.
Well, he was telling the truth.
The upcoming issue of Game Informer magazine, which also features an exclusive look at
Fallout 3, also has a look at the first title that 3D Realms promised it would announce.
Titled
Earth No More, the game is a first-person shooter which will be released in 2009 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It's billed as a 'collabarative' game with a focus on group dynamics and a distinct sci-fi horror feel.
So, a sci-fi squad based shooter which won't be released for about two years? Yeah, that's really a massive announcement 3D Realms. Now, hurry up and finish
Duke Nukem Forever - it's been ten years since you officially started work on it and we're starting to get annoyed with you. So is everybody else.
More importantly, why announce a game two years ahead of it's intended release date when everybody knows that it'll just be delayed over and over again, like that
other game which wasn't
Duke Nukem Forever.
Do you still care about
Duke Nukem Forever, or are you just annoyed that every article on the internet to do with 3D Realms will inevitably end up being a whinge about the delays of
Duke Nukem Forever? Let us know what you think
