Intel NUC Competition Update
Earlier this year we asked you to design cases for Intel's new Broadwell-based NUCs. The response was fantastic and as with our previous NUC competition, five modders were picked to receive NUC kits and to make good on their designs.
We've added some small extensions to the deadlines to help our modders get their projects finished without rushing them but all is still set to be revealed this month. Today, though, we're looking at the progress that's been made so far from each of our five modders so here they are in alphabetical order.

Soul-i-Doll's project wowed many with its renders of an angular futuristic-looking case for Intel's new NUC. The printed case arrived but needed some modifications so Soul-i-doll used putty to fill in the gaps.
The case was then sanded and primed to create a gorgeously smooth-looking finish but still with those sharp, angular edges. The latest images in the project log show Soul-i-Doll has painted the case, mounted the NUC PCB, cut the various port holes and also mounted the internal port extenders.
