We’re big fans of competitions here at bit-tech, and from Mod of the Month to the Asus Xtreme Global Summit, this year we’ve had some great entrants to our competitions and given away some terrific prizes.

Next year we’re hoping to give away even more games and hardware, and so we’ve launched a new part of the site to help us do this. The new backend for the new competitions module makes it much easier for us to administer competitions (keeping track of prizes, entrants, winners and so forth), and so it should mean we’re able to run more competitions than ever before.

For starters, we’ll now be able to run the monthly competition from Custom PC magazine here on bit-tech, and it also allows us to give you access to competitions from other Dennis technology sites.

Head on over to http://competitions.bit-tech.net to see the prizes, ponder the questions and submit your entry. You can also find a link to the terms and conditions.

In terms of prizes, currently up for grabs we have Sharkoon X-Tactic Digital Headphones, Aerocool Modern-V case LCD screens, a PS3, PSP and Lost DVD box sets. Be warned, the questions are fiendishly difficult.

As this is a new feature, it’s currently accessible only from http://competitions.bit-tech.net, and not every competition will be run using it – Mod of the Month will continue to be run via the forums, for instance. Speaking of which, let us know your thoughts in... the forums.
